Day 1: Arrive at KIA and transfer to Arusha City
After you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Arusha City.
Day 2: Arusha City- Tarangire National Park
After a buffet breakfast drive to Tarangire for full day game drive. En-route capture incredible photos of Maasai people grazing their herds on the savannah plains. On your game drive, you may spot vast herds of elephants, migratory wildebeest, zebra, impala and many more. Baobab trees are the landmark of Tarangire national park and it is said that God deliberately planted upside down so that you could see the root not the branches. Sight sausage trees found along the water courses and acacia trees that frame a picture for you at sunset.
Day 3: Karatu - Serengeti National Park
Wake up early in the morning whereby will take a cup of fresh brewed Tanzanian coffee. After breakfast you will take your way to Serengeti national park heading in a northwesterly direction. Head up the winding, switch-back road and into the Ngorongoro Highlands continue to the Serengeti national park (endless plain) for afternoon to sunset game drive in the heart of Serengeti Park before you heard to your overnight camp for dinner and overnight. Afterwards gather round the campfire before heading off to bed. Relax in your comfortable surroundings tonight as you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the Serengeti plains.
Day 4-5: Full days in the endless plain of Serengeti national park.
After breakfast, head for full day game viewing in the Serengeti with a picnic lunch in the search for the “Big 5” – lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino. Famed for its annual migration, Serengeti offers the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa such as great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, big cats (lion, leopard and cheetah), thousands upon thousands eland, topi, kongoni, impala and grant gazelle binds the Serengeti’s ecosystem much as it has done for the past two million years. Over 500 bird species ranging from the out-sized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the sky. Later in the afternoon, you may experience one of the blazing Serengeti sunsets, with silhouetted acacia trees and the call of the wild close at hand.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater -Zanzibar
After having a hearty breakfast, head to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend down to the Crater floor. Sight zebra and wildebeest mix on the crater floor along with some 50 lions, 400 hyenas, grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, cheetah, antelopes, hippos, various types of jackal, greater and lesser flamingo and many other species. Enjoy your picnic Lunch at the Site with a spectacular wildlife and scenery views. After lunch, you will be dropped off at the Airstrip and fly to Zanzibar. Upon landing in Zanzibar,you will be transferred to Nungwi and check in at the hotel and have time to relax.
Day 7: Nungwi Beach Relaxation
You will have full day to enjoy the hotel amenities. You are recommended to enjoy swimming and simple massage to help you refresh your body after spending five days on safari.In the evening, head to the beach t mimgle with new friends, both fellow tourists and locals, while cruising on traditional dhow and wnjoying the sunset.
Day 8: Safari Blue Full Day Trip
At 8:00 am Trip to Safari Blue. A full day sailing/snorkeling/sunbathing on a traditional dhow and seafood barbecue. Setting sail from Fumba, you will explore the Menai Bay where dolphins are often sighted. When dropping the anchor at Kwale sandbank, you can snorkeling the coral reefs. At Kwale Island you’ll be served a buffet of grilled fish, lobster, calamari, chickens and coconut rice.The boat sails to a stunning natural lagoon where there is opportunity to swim, before the day is over and back to your hotel.
Day 9: Nungwi -Zanzibar Stone -Spice Farm
After breakfast, check out with your luggages and drive to Stone Town passing through a few stops. You will see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation or plots in the island. A variety of spices plants used as ornament, medicines, flowers, fruits and another interesting flora can be seen during spice tour and visit to Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (grand daughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia .
Day 10: Stone Town Tour
A full day Stone Town City Tour around the historical culture and architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history. It includes a visit to former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), Old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Center) to Maruhubi Palace Ruins via Living Stone House.
Day 11: Prison Island -Departure
At half day tip to Prison Island Boat Tour a home of Aldabra Giant Tortoises. Flanged by an amazing beach of reef sanctuary, the island is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and beach relaxation. At 5:00pm transfer to hotel. Later proceed back to Zanzibar town. Soon after hotel check out process, pick up from hotel transfer to the Zanzibar Harbor/ International Airport at the time as indicated on the fight tickets.
