1 Hour : Transfer to Arusha National Park
An early morning pick-up from your accommodation to be at the gates of Arusha National Park by approximately 10:00 am. The drive to the park is short; coffee plantations and small towns with busy daily life keep you entertained for the 50 minutes it takes until you turn onto a gravel road and start ascending towards the park gate.
3 Hours: Canoe Safari
After for canoe safari following the shorelines of small Momella Lake inside Arusha National Park. This is the only place in Tanzania where you can get close to buffalo without being charged; where you can see giraffes, bushbucks, waterbucks; where you can witness a 600-species strong bird community; and where you can view Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro at the same time from the exciting luxury of our stable two-person canoes. Enroute you may sight the famous for white and black colobus monkeys, burchell’s Zebra, giraffe and herds of buffalo, bohor reedbuck, python, elephants bush buck, hippos and many water birds living in and close to the water.
1 Hour : Transfer to Arusha National Park
Late afternoon leave the park to head back to your accommodation in Arusha City.
